They had to run the update through the testing process yesterday to ensure other issues did not crop up in the build. For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding.
Amplitube 4 Legacy Presets Update Through TheOne thing that hasnt changed in this version is it always shows every pedal, amp, cab etc, even if you havent bought them. It would be really nice to have an option to only display items you have purchased. That would be a big help and get rid of things Ill never buy but have to look at and mouse past all the time. T asks for the root directory, in my case, it was located in my library - documents - IKmultimedia - Amplitube 3 - patches and or presets By the way, in case this helps, I had to scroll down to users, then the name of my laptop, then my library showed up with documents It was not located in Documents in the program files ) It then asks you to name the folder. You name it what you want, and then your screen just says importing legacy presets depending on what you have, it took about 5 minutes for my presets and a minute for my patches ( or vise versa ). There is no Visual indication its loading other than that message stays on the screen. When the message disappears, its done The good news is it works, when clicking on the preset area, the drop down says Legacy presets, and it shows the folder I named, and there they all are. Bad news is, I had my user presets (or patches ) all the way under 990 on a3, so I have to scroll by clicking the down arrow and it doesnt move very fast. ![]() If this happens, dont keep clicking on it, it will freeze longer I noticed. Not sure if there is a way to just type in the 991A for example and jump right to that legacy preset Anyway, I dialed in a nice red pig by just changing a mic and moving it back from the speakers ( just experimenting ) as I did not like the way that preset originally sounded at all, now I have a nice tone to my ears. My favorite amps (JCM Slash, Triple Rec) and cabs (Vintage M 2, Engl XXL) from before are still my favorites in A4. Its great to be able to swap out the speakers, and 5 different flavors of Vintage 30s are surprisingly NOT overkill I do wish there was a quick way to swap all 4, swap the left side, and swap the right side (for a 4x12). The FX insert and new routing capabilities will be very helpful. Yes, 29 speaker models are supposed to be included in AmpliTube 4. Were working on the fix and will have it done in a couple of days (Monday or so realistically, unless you fly me to Italy to bribe some folks).
